Getting started with Easy Wp Config Utility software
Need help getting started.
Installing wordpress manually is really not that hard and once you get used to how it works you
will soon be doing it blind folded, so lets get started.
You will need a hosting account and a domain name pointed at that hosting account.
If you do not have hosting or a domain name consider Hostgator.com
Step One, setting up a database.
One of the things that can really help you keep up with data is to copy and paste the database details into a text or a note pad file, this way if you ever need that information later you do not have to go back and try to figure out what the passwords might be.
If you are using Cpanel this will be very easy, if you are using some other control panel then you may have to consult the help files for your service provider.
Next navigate to the MySQL icon
Now click on the first icon.
Name your database and remember to make a copy of the information for reference later.
Now lets create a user name for the database and also remember to record the details in your user pass word file.
You will need this information when you begin to setup and use your configuration software. One more step and this one a lot of new users forget to do sometimes.
You must grand permissions to the user you have just created.
