Thoughts on flash?

We want to have an apple, but the last one was sour.

Well it looks like Apple has decided to do the right thing, and we for one are happy about it, but this sort of brings up the entire ball of twine all over again, we are glad that apple has decided to do the right thing here but still we persist that we wonder why it had to happen at all and it sort of left a bad taste in our mouths for apple.

You just have to wonder about things sometimes, when you have so much money, does it really rot your brain, and if so can I get some of that?

There may not be as many apps made specifically for the ipad and other mobile devices.

Really, hmmm can you hear that giant sucking sound, that is the air in the famous glass elevator…

Imagine for a moment you are a narcissist, and you have such an ego that you cannot figure out what to do with all of your mentality.

Hopefully you wont find that out, but if you do happen to wake up one day and find that your are responsible for the lively hood of ten thousand employees and ten times that number of stock holders, then please what ever you do, Don’t be like Steve Jobs…

Well one thing that really is hard to understand, is the idea that the webkit, as mentioned in an address allegedly from steve jobs to the rest of the planet, is so much better than anything else out there.

As it is said, in the isle, We are not amused, and the development community is not very happy with this odd and self serving terminology,

One thing for sure, the PR problem at apple is not over, and the rather self serving statement, which in some ways, reflects on the truly strange behavior at apple over the last two or three weeks.

While we could talk about how we have some thoughts on the apple ipad and how it really needs some work, you could say that stevie needs to pull the beam from his own eye before trying to remove the splinter from adobes eye.

Also allegedly, the latest version of safari will not process forms correctly on all websites, and even the apple developer forum will not always load, with time outs, and also, network problems that interfeer with the use of the developer portal.

So some of the statements, like the absense of a mouse in flash, were a little disenginous, at best and at worst, well as Joe says, You Lie…

Allegedly…

I really think that this is not good for apple and definitly not good for the stockholders, I sure hope that what ever strange mind trip that SJ is on he figures it out…

because we want our old apple back, the one missing the worm, allegedly.

One Rotten Apple

Here are a few things that Steve Jobs could learn about the market place.

you don’t tug on Superman’s cape

You don’t spit into the wind

You don’t pull the mask off an ‘ole Lone Ranger

And you don’t mess around with Apple Customers,

That includes Steve Jobs.

You know I said this was going to happen, and if your still waiting to sell your stock,
dont, until Steve is Fired or Retired,Problems like this are going to keep happening,
You remember how Apple, (allegedly) Skrwed, over Thousands of Developers along
With Adobe, and Flash and all the other Bull Stuff that has been going on lately?

Well this is what you get, when you Do people wrong it always
comes back to get you in the end.

And with Rumors, about a lawsuit in the works actually a
class action lawsuit, they will pile on and on and on, and for part of
it they will be right on target, Steve Started this by changing the rules of the game,
Right in the middle of the game,

He did companies wrong all in the name of his private ware with adobe.

by doing people wrong, the Very people who have supported,
apple for years, You know they say what comes around, ….

Instant publishing

We live in an instant world, A world where everything must be here and now…

we live in an instant society, where all you have to do is to push a button and presto chango, something new has been created.

Can publishing really be as fast as pushing a button, short answer, yes you can.

There are many different methods of publishing with the push of a button.

This however brings up the question of quantity over quality.

Does quality make a difference It could be, however, there is really a missing ingredient, that is something that cannot be forgotten, these days you can hire out just about anything but to really create good content, for publishing, you need to have at least some talent for writing.

Can you get published electronically.

How does it effect your digital world?

Do you use marginal publishing or do you use dynamic publishing?

We live in an instant world, instant entertainment, instant, dinner, instant everything, and yes even instant pudding.

Perhaps you have heard the term instant publishing just add a few clicks and your done, we wanted to check that out and find out just what it takes to get published on some of these instant publishing networks, like amazon and lulu.

While it does seem to be easier than ever before it is not easy enough for the average person to do it, and if you want professional results you may have to hire someone to do it for you.

We looked at lulu which at first glance appears to be very friendly, and it is however, it still requires knowledge above and beyond that which most users possess, conveniently, you can outsource it.

While this may seem like a good thing at first it can run into money, certainly not as much as in the old days of self publishing, where you could easily end up spending five thousand dollars on getting published, perhaps that included 100 books.

The cost is still up there.

When compared to books in production on Amazon.com most people are just not going to pay the higher price for a lulu product.

For the time being we hope to find a good alternative to these powerhouse instant publishing houses, because for our money, its just not the way to go.

You might wonder just how is the best way to get your work published, well that is a good question one that we are actively investigating.

For some time now people have been predicting the death of the papers, and it now is beginning to look like this might actually start to happen soon.

Since so many people are getting their new online now, newspapers and the higher cost, is really starting to take its toll, it may be that newspapers will make the trip and transition to electronic form.

bricking a jail broken iphone

Will there be a huge legal battle in the next few months?

Will apple run afoul of the UCC, and the DCMA, even prehaps the FTC?

Thousands of people have jail broken their iphones and now ipads and Stevie jobs seems to be living in some other world.

What kind of corporate board, allows, this to keep happening?

It is time to do the right thing or replace mr jobs.

Or will apple finally figure it all out, that you have to give the customer what they want or eventually they will be someone else s customer.

Ok, most every one has heard of the iphone, but in case you have not, the iphone is one of the most popular mobile devices in many years.

the iPhone is an Internet enabled multimedia mobile phone device designed and more importantly marketed by Apple.

the IPhone has a multi touch screen with buttons and virtual keyboard.

One of the many functions of IPhone is a portable media player and a camera phone with visual voicemail and text messaging.

the IPhone also provides Internet services including internet access and a browser experience, e-mail, and WiFi connectivity.

IPhone also supports EDGE data connections.

The IPhone was introduced on 29th June’07 for the first time in United States, and then in the UK, France, and Germany in Nov’07.

After the original offerings IPhone devices are sold only at AT&T network with a Simlock, in place a variety of hackers have found techniques to unbolt the device.

Not only have Apple stores annulled the warranty (allegedly) on hacked and not closed IPhones but Apple just made a statement which says that the unlocked process along with a future IPhone update may cause your phone to be about as useful as a brick.

So you can see the term Bricked, comes from what some have called, bricking.

In a very recent decision

DMCA Ruling Allows iPhone Jailbreaks this is no longer as much of an issue, (allegedly) but dont run out and break your device, right away, because you could still end up with a problem, ok, so just so you know we are not saying its ok, but there is evidence that the DCMA has made this decision and it could have a direct impact on how you use your equipment in the near future.

There may be some lawsuits, yes, but know this, the days of opression of your mobile devices are numbered.

Yet, still  Users that are installing illegal unlocking programs are strongly discouraged by Apple because of the possibility that could still void the warranty and also cause the phone to become the afore mentioned brick.
