bricking a jail broken iphone

Will there be a huge legal battle in the next few months?

Will apple run afoul of the UCC, and the DCMA, even prehaps the FTC?

Thousands of people have jail broken their iphones and now ipads and Stevie jobs seems to be living in some other world.

What kind of corporate board, allows, this to keep happening?

It is time to do the right thing or replace mr jobs.

Or will apple finally figure it all out, that you have to give the customer what they want or eventually they will be someone else s customer.

Ok, most every one has heard of the iphone, but in case you have not, the iphone is one of the most popular mobile devices in many years.

the iPhone is an Internet enabled multimedia mobile phone device designed and more importantly marketed by Apple.

the IPhone has a multi touch screen with buttons and virtual keyboard.

One of the many functions of IPhone is a portable media player and a camera phone with visual voicemail and text messaging.

the IPhone also provides Internet services including internet access and a browser experience, e-mail, and WiFi connectivity.

IPhone also supports EDGE data connections.

The IPhone was introduced on 29th June’07 for the first time in United States, and then in the UK, France, and Germany in Nov’07.

After the original offerings IPhone devices are sold only at AT&T network with a Simlock, in place a variety of hackers have found techniques to unbolt the device.

Not only have Apple stores annulled the warranty (allegedly) on hacked and not closed IPhones but Apple just made a statement which says that the unlocked process along with a future IPhone update may cause your phone to be about as useful as a brick.

So you can see the term Bricked, comes from what some have called, bricking.

In a very recent decision

DMCA Ruling Allows iPhone Jailbreaks this is no longer as much of an issue, (allegedly) but dont run out and break your device, right away, because you could still end up with a problem, ok, so just so you know we are not saying its ok, but there is evidence that the DCMA has made this decision and it could have a direct impact on how you use your equipment in the near future.

There may be some lawsuits, yes, but know this, the days of opression of your mobile devices are numbered.

Yet, still  Users that are installing illegal unlocking programs are strongly discouraged by Apple because of the possibility that could still void the warranty and also cause the phone to become the afore mentioned brick.

ipad is it really all that?

Imagine what you can do…

Is it a brand new market, a brand new day? Is this a brand new marketplace?

Will the ipad become the next ipod?

There are nearly 750 thousand of these ipads and the number is growing, that means that there are literally new customers all over the place, just waiting for good apps to come out of the app store, yet, apple does not have much in the way of ipad apps, possibly because of the process draconian or otherwise that they use to approve each app.

However, no matter if you like it or not, the ipad is here to stay.

What do you think about the ipad, stuff, is jobs as allegedly crazy as they say, or is it genius, is he being draconian? or prudent, the owl wants to know…

Many people are wondering if the ipad is really worth it, some say yes some say not, I bought one and just days later apple changed all the rules, and some allege that apple created a lot of problems for developers.

either way, unless apple makes this right, this may be one of the last times, the stock price gets to this level.

Steve Jobs or Steve Martin?

The days where you thought you were doing the right thing by investing in apple products and services, may have come to a screeching halt you have to wonder about the scope of the behavior of some leaders, specifically over at apple, where you wonder if Steve Jobs is acting like the actor Steve Martin, allegedly like in the movie “The Jerk”

With the now famous “thoughts on flash” post which allegedly came from the donkeys mouth, (allegedly) you just have to wonder what is going on over there, are they in control of what they are doing or are they just behaving like a donkey.

On the third of april myself like apparently nearly a quarter of a million USA residents went out and purchased an ipad, we were thinking about the hype and how neat it would be to own one, but I was thinking about how cool it would be to actually produce software for the ipad…

Then just hours later, Jobs allegedly kicks sand in the faces of everyone that purchased an ipad, by changing the rules of the game, no notice was given.

It was just done… without regard to the consquences, I just have one thing to say, Public Relations Nightmare, (again allegedly) I would hate to be the victum of the apparently and allegedly unstable Jobs persona.

We have heard stories about the glass elevator…

But really, what is happening over at apple, have they lost their minds?

In a way this is sort of like peanuts…

In many ways I feel like charlie brown, I feel like I have been let down by apple, I feel like they have done something to my wheaties.   I am not happy and I am not alone…

I was preparing to upgrade my computers, but now that is all on hold as it appears that the jerk may be planning some kind of stupidity (allegedly) and I may want to invest in some other platform…

I sure hope something can be done because so far I am not impressed with the recent logic and actions of the fearless leader, because it is sort of like the iron curtain and it sucks and I dont like it and I am not alone…  >

Is this a poisoned apple?

Some polls are allegedly showing that the recent move by apple has caused millions of dollars in damages.

Is apple over stepping its bounds, according to rumors, allegedly apple is attempting to buy ARM holdings, and again allegedly the price tag is a whopping 8 Billion, the really scary thing here is the notion that someone else may have been making a move to acquire, the business that creates most of the processors used in the mobile market, including the ipad.

So if another company was looking at buying out this company, in an effort, to say cut off apple from its supply, that would be huge.

The real question here is would anyone feel sorry for apple after the recent very unpopular move apple made by changing all its license terms for thousands of developers and customers, for the 4.0 SDK.

Now Microsoft seems to be making moves in the same way…

Microsoft rumors allegedly say is also making moves to push developers away from other markets, and into only microsoft markets.

The idea here is to force people to only use your tools, only allow them to do what you say they can do.

Is this the kind of freedom that produced two of the more powerful companies in the world today?

It just seems a little like black mail, all this infighting and back biting.

So now we have wars that apparently will begin to involve anti trust suits, looks a little frightening as well as sad too.

Why can we all just get along?
